Types of Programs and Services I Support
Evidence-based or promising approaches that are founded in attachment theory, in connected, authoritative parenting, or in family systems theory, and are trauma-informed are all within my purview, including prevention, intervention, and therapeutic approaches. I also work with young-person-facing programs that use a positive youth development lens, and with programs that focus on parents’ self-sufficiency for child safety. These programs are often listed on California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare or the Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse, among others.
Unsure? please ask, sending a link to the program dissemination entity’s website or a major evidence-based compendium’s description of the program.
Besides programmatic support, I also support organizations that are forming ultra-collaborative interagency partnership, including data systems alignment, identifying shared goals, designing no-wrong-door intake protocols, and building cross-referral capacity.
My expertise includes special populations and settings:
- Child welfare agencies and adjacent organizations
- Organizations that serve families experiencing parental substance use, utilizing a family-centered treatment model
- Healthcare settings, including Federally Qualified Health Centers and pediatric primary care offices
- Urban settings
Some example approaches may include:
- Circle of Security
- Triple P
- Tuning In to Kids
- Strive Supervised Visitation Program
- Homebuilders
- START- Sobriety Treatment and Recovery Teams
- Multidimensional Family Recovery
- Mobility Mentoring
*Presence or absence of a program on this list does not imply fit or non-fit with my services.
